Endurance monsters offer a completely different battle mode than regular monsters. With Endurance battles you are fighting “against the clock”, not toward a certain word count goal.
The goal with Endurance battles is to not stop writing for N amount of time. Each Endurance monster will have a different amount of time it requires:
When you start an Endurance Battle you’ll see a “health bar” with a shield over it. This is an indicator of your health.
You have to keep writing to keep your health “up” and in the green section. As long as your health doesn’t get to 0 before time runs out you’ll win!
If you don’t type for a certain amount of time, you’ll see your health start to decrease:
If your health gets to 0 you’ll lose the battle.
Endurance battles have a special quality to them where you’ll unlock bonuses for “staying in the green” with your health bar. That means more rewards for more active writing.
Keep your health/shield in the “green” and you’ll add points to your bonus indicator:
If you win the Endurance battle with bonus points we’ll multiply your rewards by the bonus level you unlocked (a bonus level of 2X would double your rewards). You can get up all the way to 4X the rewards!
