Special Event Quests

Every special event will have a set of new quests that become available when the event begins. For larger events, more quests will come available throughout the event.

Special event quests have their own Quest Market where you can pick them up: 

• Smaller events: quest markets will be available in every area of the game. So, regardless of what area you’re in (Luciola Forest or Mama Tree), you’ll see the quest market for the event (usually labeled with the name of the event (Love Festival or Halloween).

• Larger events: have their own World Maps where you can travel to different areas. When this is the case there’s usually a quests market in each special event area.

Pick up many quests as you can as early as you can by clicking the “Take Quest” button:

Once the quests are in your Questbook you’re assured that any monster or word you write from then on counts toward your quests.

Dust Warrior Tip: If you can, clear some space in your Questbook before an event begins. Or, drop any quests that you’ve just started or you can afford to drop (quests that only require items are great because you won’t lose any progress as the items will still be in your inventory when you pick up the quest again).

Multiplayer quests: most special events include a multiplayer monster that’s here for the event. When that’s the case, there will be new event quests for our multiplayer battle mode which can be picked up in the Multiplayer Co-Op quests page.

Once you’ve picked up as many event quests as you can it’s time to fight the event monsters!
