Special events bring new content to everyone on the site for a limited time celebration!
They’re an opportunity to pause your regular day-to-day game progress and come together with the rest of the community to celebrate something that is new for everyone and only here for a short time.
We have more than 6 special events a year, all with different themes, sizes and lengths. Our events are announced ahead of time in yearly calendars, here’s our 2024 Special Events Calendar.
In this guide we’ll go over the basics of special events, go over how to participate in them, and tips and tricks to making the most of the celebration.
Beginning & End
Start time: where content is unlocked for everyone at the same time
End time: when content becomes unavailable for everyone.
These times are announced ahead of time and we’ll usually have a live countdown visible on the site header so you know exactly how many hours and minutes are left.
New Content
All special events bring some sort of new content that is unique to this celebration.
Even though we have yearly events (like Love Festival every February) there will always be content that is new to everyone.
All special events have unique:
Monsters
Quests
Cosmetic rewards (Wardrobe Items, House Items, House Maps)
Items (usually an event “Token”)
Commemorative Badge
A Global Event page for quick access to materials
Most of this content is only available during the special event, some of it returns in future events or as permanent content, and in some rare cases, items will marked as “Legacy Items” that will never be available again.
